Traditional Matcha Preparation

  • Method:
    1. Simply whisk 2g (about 1/2 teaspoon)  of matcha in the tea bowl using the tea scoop.
    2. Add a small amount of hot water (about 70-80°C).
    3. Whisk quickly in a circular motion using the chasen until frothy.
    4. Once frothy, drink it while it's fresh to enjoy the aroma and taste.

Matcha Latte

  • Ingredients: Matcha powder, milk (cow's milk or plant-based), hot water, sugar (optional)
  • Method:
    1. Dissolve the matcha powder in a small amount of hot water to create a smooth paste.
    2. Heat the milk in a separate pan, and add sugar to taste.
    3. Pour the warmed milk into the matcha paste and mix well.
    4. Pour into a cup and top with frothed milk for a creamy matcha latte.

Matcha Smoothie

  • Ingredients: Matcha powder, banana, almond milk (or cow's milk), ice, honey (optional)
  • Method:
    1. Add matcha powder, banana, almond milk, and ice into a blender.
    2. Sweeten with honey or syrup to taste.
    3. Blend everything until smooth.
    4. Pour into a glass and enjoy a refreshing, chilled matcha smoothie.

Iced Matcha

  • Ingredients: Matcha powder, cold water, ice
  • Method:
    1. Dissolve the matcha in cold water.
    2. Add ice to a glass and pour the matcha mixture over the ice.
    3. Stir well and enjoy a cold, refreshing matcha drink.
